Dear {firstname},
The positive feedback we have received from clients from GIL 2008 North
America is overwhelming! A few notable highlights from the event included:
'CEO of the Year' Jim
Balsillie, co-CEO of Research in Motion (RIM) and inventor
of the Blackberry™; a book signing with New York Times
best-selling author Nassim Nicholas Taleb, author of "The
Black Swan: The Impact of the Highly Improbable"; Frost &
Sullivan CEO David Frigstad presented "The CEO's
Perspective on Growth: Maintaining a 360 Degree
Perspective"; and Nick Pinchuk, CEO Snap-On Incorporated,
delivered a powerful keynote, "Matching Business Models to
Fast Moving Global Markets".
With a 100% delegate growth from the 2007 event and 100
CEOs from top growth companies in attendance, it is an
event true to its name, and we are adding several GIL 2009
events throughout the year in select cities across the
globe to accommodate this growth (see the listing in left
column below for all locations).
We've summarized our findings from the 2008 event below. Also, please take
note of the "WANTED: Authors" section to contribute your own opinion and
expertise.
I look forward to meeting you soon!
Best,
Caryn
Brown

The
Lighter Side
GIL 2008 North America ended
on a high note!
Between the beautiful golf weather and the Sonoma Valley
wine tour, all participants got a true taste of
San Francisco's best.
And everyone loved the European Cabaret stylings
of Teatro ZinZanni - complete with Cirque show
and dinner along San Francisco’s historic
waterfront.
A special congratulations to all of this year's
Growth Excellence and Green Excellence award
recipients!

“Green” issues have been dominating advertising, news, and
the public conscience heavily in recent months. Due to
rising price of traditional petroleum based-fuels, natural
disasters seen by many as a result of environmental
negligence, and overall popularity of environmental causes,
looking “green” to consumers has become of increasing
importance to almost all industries.
