How can we provide basic healthcare to every person on the planet? How can industry sustain growth while protecting the planet? How can we best make innovative business and marketing ideas/tools accessible to the next generation of thought leaders and innovators?
These are just some of the many “Big Picture Questions” that were top-of-mind for CEOs and their management teams last week at GIL 2010: Europe – The Global Community of Growth, Innovation and Leadership. With more than three hundred executives in attendance, members of our global network from across Europe took part in visionary think tanks gaining a greater understanding for where their Industries are headed over the next ten to twenty years. Further, participants had the opportunity to explore various Mega Trends of more than eight vertical industries and a variety of promising growth and investment opportunities being generate as a result of industry convergence.
One of the exciting highlights of GIL 2010: Europe was the official launch of the online GIL Community, connecting our global network of visionaries, innovators and leaders 24/7, 365 days a year. Visitors will benefit through the exchange of ideas, best practices, opinions, insights and views via blogs, forums, the newly integrated Peer-to-Peer connect feature, plus, they’ll have access to all presentations from GIL Global events.
With the many complex challenges in the world today, comes simple yet innovative solutions for tomorrow
— we all know Innovation is one of the key elements which build the foundation of any company's growth strategy. By engaging, inspiring and provoking one another in the global community, each of us has the unique opportunity to learn how we can continue to develop visionary perspectives, benchmark proven strategies, share new ideas and gain fresh ideas. Our online global community is a key tool which allows our network to continue staying connected well beyond our annual GIL events.
If you are not already setup and would like to have access to our online GIL community, the many essential tools, touch points, and resources that are already available to our “GILsters”, please contact me directly at
bdenker@frost.com and we can work to make your membership in the community official, enabling your direct access to these invaluable tools. If you are interested in becoming an even more active member of the community
— whether its supporting the GIL Community as a whole, participating on our Board of Advisors, sponsoring an industry track or becoming a thought leader in our programs, newsletters and GIL Bite series
