We’re Pulling Out All the Stops

The countdown has begun and Frost & Sullivan’s North America GIL program is going home in 2010. Returning to Frost & Sullivan’s roots, over 400 senior executives will be convening at the Fairmont in San Jose, California for GIL 2010: Silicon Valley.

This year’s program promises to pull out all of the stops for the most engaging and inspiring experience for our GILsters. I am personally excited by the many luminaries that have joined our elite roster of thought leaders for this year’s GIL; all of whom will be engaging us, sharing with us and inspiring us through countless hours of networking, interactive think tanks, industry and career-focused discussions. This continual flow of new ideas, fresh perspectives, tools and resources will deliver key insights into industry mega trends, big picture questions and futuristic scenarios.

So how does one maximize their GIL Experience?

The 10 “Must Dos” to Go-2-GIL:

  • Bring loads of business cards. Tons of networking opportunities! (Starts Sunday night with Welcome Reception, September 12, 2010, 6:30 p.m.)
  • Confirm interactive track selections for the Industry Visionary Think Tanks on Monday and Tuesday’s interactive career breakouts.
  • Pre-register with the registration desk to attend Monday evening’s Networking Wine and Dine at 7:30 p.m.
  • Prize Opportunity! Sign up for the Solution Wheel on Monday or Tuesday at registration.
  • Prize Opportunity! Return Pre-Diagnostic Questionnaire and Event Evaluations to be entered in our drawing.
  • Get a FREE research report. Stop at Frost & Sullivan’s TEAM Research/Online GIL Community exhibit to complete a
    “Peer-to-Peer” connect profile.
  • Confirm post-GIL deliverables and resources. (Access to community newsletter, webcast, etc.)
  • Confirm cab pick-up time for departure. Remember to schedule after Casino Royale closing networking party (Tuesday, 7:00 p.m.)
  • Speak to Frost & Sullivan about Wednesday GIL University Workshop Sessions … great value in attending!
  • Confirm 2011 GIL dates. Be the early bird.
Now, for those of you that will not be making this year’s GIL 2010: Silicon Valley program, GIL is still global! With more than ten GILs taking place around the world, send us an email to for an updated schedule of GIL around the world, become a member of the community and gain access to the many benefits and thought leadership being shared across the globe. The Frost & Sullivan team and I look forward to sharing and engaging with you in the very near future!
