SCIP: Our Growth is Enhanced by
Your Participation

Twitter
Competitive intelligence is entering a new cycle of growth for both the profession and our organization. As we grow we are changing to expand the reach and the relevance of our organization as well as adjusting to the current norms for interacting with you, our members.

In the last several weeks, we reached out to you via e-mail, the SCIP blog, and our LinkedIn group to start a discussion on a potential name change. Within five minutes of sending the email, you expanded the discussion to Twitter, and within the first few hours I received more than 100 responses. You gave a resounding “yes” response to the proposed change.

As your society moves forward and implements a strategic plan in the “new economy,” you will see several short and simple discussions, queries and surveys directed to you for commentary. The feedback that flows from our conversations has and will continue to shape SCIP. Thank you for your participation and your passion.

Sincerely,

Ken Garrison
CEO, SCIP
